Walkerville’s Getting a Gorgeous New Restaurant and We’re Already Obsessed

Walkerville is about to level up its dining game with the opening of a brand-new upscale restaurant.

Nick Politi, the restaurateur behind Nico Taverna on Erie Street in Windsor’s Via Italia, is just weeks away from opening his newest spot — Nico — inside the historic Walker Power Building at Devonshire and Riverside Drive in Walkerville, Windsor, Ontario.

And trust us — the space is absolutely breathtaking. Think sleek modern design with bold textures, warm lighting, and a mix of cozy lounge seating and polished dining tables. Velvet couches with plush pillows give it a luxe, lounge-like feel, while the glowing bar and custom wood finishes make the whole space pop. It’s the kind of restaurant where you’ll want to dress up, sip a cocktail, and take your time soaking it all in.

With seating for around 140 guests, Nico is set to be one of the most talked-about new restaurants in Walkerville.

This marks Politi’s second restaurant, following the success of Nico Taverna, located just steps from the WindsorEats Food Hall.

While the exact opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet, Windsor foodies won’t have to wait long — the restaurant is expected to open in the next few weeks.

A big congratulations to Nick on this exciting new chapter.
