If you’ve been itching for a little Detroit flavour without crossing the border, you’re in luck.
On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, 5pm – 9pm, we’re handing over the WindsorEats Food Hall bar to the absolute legends from Black on Both Sides (B.O.B.S.), one of Detroit’s most exciting and innovative hospitality collectives.
And trust us — you’re gonna wanna be here for this one.
A Little Taste of the Motor City
With so many Canadians skipping trips to the U.S. these days, this is your perfect excuse to get a taste of Detroit right here in Windsor. If you were at our last Detroit popup with Sugar House, you know how wild these nights get. The place was packed, the cocktails were fire, and the vibes were immaculate.
This time around, the crew from Black on Both Sides will be slingin’ their signature cocktails all night long, bringing a whole lotta Motor City magic to the WindsorEats Food Hall. Think bold flavours, creative concoctions, and a whole lot of Detroit in every glass.
The entire cocktail menu will be limited and developed by B.O.B.S.
Who Is Black on Both Sides?
For those who haven’t heard the name yet, Black on Both Sides is more than just a bar crew — they’re a movement. Their mission is to shine a light on the rich history, traditions, and creativity Black people have contributed to hospitality. From bartending and service to community connection, B.O.B.S. is all about celebrating culture through craft.
In their own words:
“B.O.B.S. is a love letter to Black hospitality, Black culture, and the beautiful Black traditions that have helped shape everything from our cocktails to our communities.”
And now, they’re bringing that love letter across the border for one unforgettable night.
