Working alongside Ryan Fontaine (double bass) and Any Tattersall (guitar) they have entertained audiences across Southern Ontario and the Detroit area. With a repertoire of standards ranging from Bossa Nova to Swing, they’ll be sure to keep you entertained.
January 18: Coffee House Combo
For week two, it’s all about charm and sophistication with the Coffee House Combo. True to their name, this group offers a cosy, warm jazz experience that pairs perfectly with your favourite WindsorEats brew. Their repertoire spans jazz standards and playful improvisations, making every performance unique. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or a casual listener, Coffee House Combo’s blend of intimate melodies and rhythmic grooves will keep you swaying all night long.
January 25: The Russ Macklem Detroit Quintet
Closing out Jazzy January with a bang is none other than The Russ Macklem Detroit Quintet, featuring Juno Award nominee Russ Macklem. This powerhouse ensemble brings together the best of Detroit’s vibrant jazz scene with Macklem’s world-class trumpet skills leading the charge.
