Chapter Two Brewing has got some new tricks up their sleeve. By new tricks, we mean some awesome new beers available in their tap room.

Last week, the brewery announced the launch of their Monologue Series which focuses on individual (mono) dry hopping of a base beer in the keg. There will be 6 different releases in the series made in uber limited batches.

The very first release, The Golden One, featured El Dorado Hops, hence the name as El Dorado means “the golden one”. It was such a hit that it sold out in less than a week.

This Friday, May 4, 2018, released two in the series takes place with the launch of Reap and Sow using Azacca hops. Named after the Haitian God of Agriculture, the hops provide tropical aromas and flavours of mango, papaya and pineapple.

On top of the Monologue Series, Chapter Two also released an easy drinking, West Coast inspired IPA called Danger Bird. This beer is all about the hops. An assertive bitterness combined with classic North American hop flavours of citrus, grapefruit and a suggestion of pine. The touch of malt that comes through is just enough to keep the bitterness from being to overpowering. A classic IPA.
