Pelee Island Winery‘s Pinot Grigio has a hint of bronze color, with a subtle bouquet of soft peach and almond. With its balanced acidity and apple-like finish, this wine makes an ideal partner for light chicken dishes or seafood. Or better yet, imagine a light lunch with friends consisting of a shitake mushroom and Havarti cheese quiche with a mixed green salad drizzled with a light vinaigrette dressing and a glass of our Pinot Gris chilled to perfection.

This Pinot Grigio has a residual sugar level of 3.9g/L and is comprised of 89% Pinot Gris grapes and 11% Riesling.

“This is a very nice refreshing white wine to sip on with a long enoyable finish that lingers for quite some time” says Gary Killops of EssexWineReview.com.

“Taste begins very soft on the palate. Smooth mouth-feel followed by zesty, citrus character.”

The Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, prominently featured on the bottles label, makes an appearance primarily in open fields and the wooded areas on Pelee Island. These butterflies prefer flat, single, daisy-like flowers in the full morning sunlight where they sit until their muscles are warm enough
to fly.
