Just a heads up about an Ice Wine event taking place this weekend:
Celebrate winter’s gift at the LCBO Roundhouse (3165 Howard Avenue, Windsor) Icewine Event on Saturday, January 31st from noon to 4 p.m.
Sample a number of Icewines, vote on the best dessert created by local chefs, vote on and buy raffle tickets for icewine bottles decorated by local artists. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the John Atkinson Memorial Fund in support of the Special Olympics.
All guests get a grab bag with drink tickets, voting ballots for the sculptures and culinary creations, information on the artists and chefs, and Icewine brochures supplied by the Wine Council of Ontario.
