The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is hosting a party!
The Top Hat & Tails event will be held on Friday, June 20 from 6 pm through to 11 pm on Sunday, June 22 and promises to be a fantastic time in our city centre.
There’ll be temporary pedestrian malls, outdoor patios, live entertainment, food & drink specials, and block parties on Ouellette Avenue, Chatham Street East and Chatham Street West. Establishments participating in the event include:
- Chanoso’s
- Buda
- Oishii Sushi Lounge
- Plunkett’s Bistro
- Chatham Street Grill
- City Beer Market
- Treehouse Bar & Grill
- and many others
“Festivals and events bring our streets alive and satisfy the appetites of all ages,” says Larry Horwitz, Chair of the DWBIA. “The pedestrian malls and festive atmosphere create vibrant, dynamic spaces that reacquaint our residents and visitors with businesses in the city centre.”
On Saturday night, June 21 the DWBIA is encouraging everyone to join in the activities, party on the pavement, and don their finest Top Hat & Tails. They will be awarding the best dressed with $500 downtown dollars.
And if you’re interested you’ll be able to pick up some event swag at the DWBIA Offices located at 474 Ouellette Avenue at a cost of $6 each.
