WindsorEats celebrates!

On Sunday, we invited restaurants, wineries and a few of our closest friends to join us at Tsunami Glassworks.  It was a really great night that celebrated 5 years of WindsorEats.

Our local wine bar featured wines from Aleksander Estate, Mastronardi Estate, Colchester Ridge, Sprucewood Shores and Black Bear Farms.

Black Kettle Bistro catered the food and came up with some fantastic appetizers using only local products.  Actually, the only thing that wasn’t local about the food was the delicious 100% organic brownies and granola bars from BKB. Chris from Tsunami Glassworks wowed guests with amazing glass blowing demonstrations and DJ Rolls Royce spun music all night.

Not only were we celebrating 5 years of WindsorEats (yay!) but we also made a few exciting announcements to the crowd.

Now I can’t tell you about them just yet but you’ll find out about them soon enough as we are getting ready to launch the news at a press conference on November 30.

What I can tell you is that we have a number of new and exciting initiatives that we are working on for 2010.  New ideas and new events and we can’t wait to tell you about them!!

A special thank you goes out to Owen of Windsor Visuals for providing these pictures from our big day…thank you, Owen!

    Congratulations Windsor Eats!

Would have loved to have been there, but we were out of town this weekend, and on the way home during the party…

    Here’s to 5 more years!
