Everybody loves sushi, Oishi Sushi’s menu for the 2012 Winter Bites Culinary Week will make them love it even more. Oishii translates to delicious, alluding to the distinctive rolls created in addition to the sushi and sashimi.
Here is a showcase of the 3 Winter Bites selections that we here at WindsorEats are most excited about on their lunch menu:
Tempura Vegetable
Somehow tempura just makes everything taste even better.
Firecracker Roll
Avocado, carrots, cucumber and crispy onion topped with roasted red pepper and chili mayo. Deeeelish!
Tempura Bananas
Since I already chose the Tiramisu at Oishii’s off the Winter Bites menu of Oishii’s sister restaurant, Chanoso’s, I’ll take the bananas.
The Winter Bites Culinary Week lunch and dinner menus from Oishii Sushi can be viewed here. The lunch menu is $15 per person and the dinner menu is $25 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation.
