Never one to rest on their laurels, Snackbar-B-Q is offering another special monthly menu that will have burger lovers salivating: Wild Game Burgers.
The menu consists of five tasty and unique burgers that are only available for the month of February 2018 and, because we’re dedicated to our job, we went out and tried each and every one of them for you.
Here’s a look at the five Wild Game Burgers:
Bison Burger
If you love blue cheese, this burger is for you. A bison patty smothered in a blue cheese fondue, red pepper jam, arugula and topped with onion rings, you can smell this beauty coming the moment it exits the kitchen. Oh, and that red pepper jam? O.M.G.
Lamb Burger
One bite of this burger immediately brought us back to summer. The freshness of the tzatziki, red onion, lettuce, tomato and feta gave the entire burger the feeling of sitting in a backyard and pulling it straight off the grill.
Wild Boar Burger
Can you say unique? Any oh so tasty? One of our favourites, this burger is a perfect blend of spicy and sweet with jerk mayo, plantain dust, grilled pineapple, banana ketchup, Americanized cheese.
Elk Burger
If we had to describe this in one word, that word would be smoooooooth. An elk patty with a spread of smoked mushroom duxelles, smoked white cheddar, apricot mostarda, onion rings. The smokiness is to perfection.
Korean Burger
It’s always good to be different. Yes, an Angus patty is not wild game, but the flavours and creativity are what make this burger wild. The beef is topped with Korean BBQ sauce, cheddar, kimchi relish and a cilantro pesto.
