People have been so excited for our 2018 Dinner on a Pier that over 60% of our tickets for the feast have already been sold….before even releasing the menu.

Chefs Elise Keller and Johnny Oran put a lot of thought and research into the dishes and traditions of the Oaxaca region of Mexico. The final menu is a mix of those traditions along with their personal flair and creativity.

One of the highlights of the menu is the infusion of a variety of moles. Oaxaca is known as the land of 7 moles and the chefs and owners of Licia Ruby have included 4 of them within the dinner. This is extremely special considering certain types of mole can take an entire day to make properly.

Also included in the feast is an opportunity for those who are a little more adventurous with their food. Guests to Dinner on a Pier can, if they choose, indulge in some chapulines. “What are chapulines” you may ask? Well, they’re grasshoppers and are considered an integral part of Oaxacan cuisine.
