Listen to the waves crashing onto the shore…

Imagine this.

A long table on a beach. The waves crashing to the shore just feet away. The setting sun hitting the water providing stunning scenery. Bald eagles flying over an island in the distance. A chef walks up to the communal dining table and pours across it a smorgasbord of shrimp, sausage, mussels, corn on the cob, mussels and more. You may think you’re at a beach-side resort…

…think again.

WindsorEats is putting together a traditional seafood boil along the Canadian shores of Lake St. Clair on May 25, 2017.

A seafood boil is a great communal dining experience that is traditional in regions across North America. It’s messy, it’s fun, and it’s damn tasty.

Chef Ted Dimoglou of Tiki Sushi will empty his pot filled with fingerling potatoes, corn on the cob, clams, mussels, shrimp and sausage directly onto the communal dinner table for a feast everyone enjoys together.

Corn bread, coleslaw and Mediterranean baked beans will round out the meal while the WindsorEats Traveller will be parked in the sand ready to serve beer and wine.

Soul Brother Stef will provide the sounds to dinner and, should the mood strike you, a little dancing on the beach under the stars.

If you missed out on last years Dinner on a Pier, here’s your chance to redeem yourself. Plus, just think of all the Instagrammable pictures you could take to brag to your friends about.
