Each month, Mamo Burger tries to up the ante by offering a new unique burger each month in addition to their regular menu. This month, they’re is offering up a Pierogi Burger at both their Ottawa St. and St. Clair Beach locations for the entire month of September…and it’s spectacular!
They’ve taken cheddar pierogies from Little Foot Foods and stacked them on their signature beef patties before being topped with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, sour cream and chives. I mean seriously. How do you do have pierogies without sour cream and onions?
What I think made this burger extra special, aside from the local partnership or two great products, is that the cheddar from inside the pierogies acted as the cheese on the patties in a nice, creamy way.
After one day, their St. Clair Beach location sold about 50 of the burgers, showing how well received it is.
