Readers of Lake Erie Living Magazine selected the Windsor Craft Beer Festival as the very best of Lake Erie including Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Ontario and Michigan.
In their annual “Best of Lake Erie”, readers selected their favourite festivals, eateries, accommodations along the Lake Erie coastline.
The Windsor Craft Beer Festival was chosen by readers as one of their favourite festivals.
“The ambience of the festival is what draws people to it,” says festival organizer, Adrianio Ciotoli. “We take great pride in selecting brewers that are not at other events in the region and have created a unique atmosphere that people love. It’s what has made the Windsor Craft Beer Festival a highly anticipated event and one that people look forward to each year.”
The event stays true to the essence of craft beer. This year’s event includes a new lineup of breweries. Each year the festival seeks out new breweries who are not at other local festivals and are sought after by our patrons. New out-of-town breweries to the festival this year include Refined Fool, Nickelbrook Brewing Co., Collective Arts and Cameron’s.
The locals have something up their sleeves as well to surprise you with.
Local breweries Walkerville Brewery and Motor Craft Ales will be offering special casks only available at the Windsor Craft Beer Festival while Frank Brewing Company is also offering up some special brews like a Honey Habanero and a Beligian Pear.
“This festival has soul and spirit,” says Ciotoli. “It celebrates the brewing history of Walkerville and we incorporate that into our event. It’s not just another generic beer festival.”
The Windsor Craft Beer Festival entertainment is interactive and goes beyond the stage. The Detroit Party Marching Band is back for another year. A guerilla based marching band, they often turn up at events unexpectedly. The band forgoes the stage and make their way through the festival grounds including the crowd in their high energy performances.
