The beer that made a political splash is ready for pick up.
Motor Craft Ales releases “The Berner” Maple Walnut Brown Cream Ale With Habanero as their unofficial vote for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders
“Over the 4 weeks it’s taken to get from boil to bottle, we’ve received endless calls and emails from people wanting to buy the Berner. Now we can finally say it’s ready come and get it,” says co-owner Jay Souilliere.
The Berner will be available at the Motorburger and Motor Craft Ales bottle shop located at 888 Erie Street E, Windsor, Ontario. This limited edition small batch Cream Ale will be sold in 650ml on a first come first serve basis.
The Brown Cream Ale will be full bodied and have a complex layering of complementary flavours. Sweet fruit and Earthy tones will dominate the nose in this cloudy textured cream ale. Initial tastes will have a maple and roasted caramel and toffee maltiness with walnut undertones that blend almost immediately with sweet earthy pepper.
The slight amount of heat from the habanero will be in the background to allow the bitter citrus fruit characters from the hops to shine through.
