Let the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Windsor Centre introduce you to the magic of the night sky through their telescopes in the peaceful setting of a vineyard.
On Saturday, August 8 at 6:00pm, join one or all of the many activities at Colchester Ridge Estate Winery or simply bring a blanket and gaze.
Activities include:
- 6:30 – Solar Viewing
- 7:30 – Indoor Presentation
- 8:45 – Twilight Talk & Guided Night Sky Viewing
Targets of interest will include Saturn, globular clusters, galaxies and planetary nebula.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5 per person to the RASC – Windsor Centre.
Robbie’s Gourmet Sausages, wines by the glass and non- alcoholic beverages available for purchase. This event is suitable for ages 8 and up.
