Dry Parlour Inc will host their second annual Summer White Party on Saturday, July 11, 2015 with 100% of all proceeds benefiting Windsor’s Family Respite Services.

Witness The Willistead Restaurant morph into South Beach with its extended patio adorned in white linens, chandeliers and of course, beautifully dressed guests. Attendees will have the opportunity to show off their finest whites while enjoying a selection of summer fare prepared by Battle of the Hors D’oeuvres winner, Jim Renaud and listening to the sounds of DJ duo Chilly n’ Dio. The event is held in celebration of summer and offers an exciting way to give back to the community specifically children with disabilities and their parents.

“We look forward to honoring Family Respite Services for their outstanding commitment to the WindsorEssex community and want to do our part to ensure they can keep doing what they do”, said Sylvia Gounakis, co-owner of Dry Parlour Inc.

Her business partner George Kalivas also comments, “we strive at staying committed to our charitable goals. Even though we are a new small business, we feel that it is our responsibility to assist the very same community that is helping us grow. We owe our success to our amazing city, and we look forward to many more years of organizing this event.”

Family Respite Services was also the beneficiary for last year’s inaugural event and both parties intend on repeating and establishing the event while developing their relationship further.

Alexandria Fischer (Fundraising & Recruitment Coordinator at Family Respite Services) explains, “100 percent of proceeds from events such as this enable us to ensure that children with disabilities can participate in community recreation activities just like their peers. We are thrilled to have the support of Dry Parlour Inc. for this event as Family Respite Services relies on Windsor’s business community to serve parents and children in need of help. Events such as this essentially help parents get a break and their children engage in meaningful activities.”

The event takes starts at 7:00pm. A dress code of, you guessed it, white is in effect. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online.
