Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In case you were still looking for a place to celebrate the Irish in you, here are some of the festivities happening in and around Windsor today. Just remember, no matter where you go to celebrate, have fun, be safe, be responsible.

Rock Bottom Bar & Grill

For the third year, Sandwich Town will be turning into the Irish Quarter today and Rock Bottom will be the place to be. They’ll have a heated beer tent, Irish grub and live Celtic entertainment inside and outside all day long!

Some of their special menu items for the day include Beef n’ Guinness Stew, a Blarney Burger and Sheperd’s Pie Nachoes. Mmmm mmm!

The Manchester

The doors opened at 11:00am at The Manchester and along with live music, including the Tartan Army. they’ll be featuring some good food specials.

Some of the menu items include Irish Poutine, Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinners and Fish & Chips. Or you can always go with their Churchill Burger which was named one of our Must Try Burgers of 2015.

What better way to spend your day than at Craft Heads Brewing with some Aardvark Green Ale, a new special recipe St. Patty’s Stout, another new special recipe RY ‘n Ginger, plus many more. Craft Heads doors opened at 11:00am.

 

Bull & Barrel

The Bull & Barrel doors open at 11:30am and the first 100 customers receive a free pulled pork sandwich. They will also be featuring $5 Green Pints all day and night! The Mike Ure Band will hit the stage at 4:00pm.

If you’ve had a drink or two and need to soak it up with a monster meal, order their 4lb Burger.

 

Joe Schmoe’s

Who doesn’t love free stuff? To celebrate the Irish, Joe Schmoe’s is giving away shirts and steins all day.

They’ll also have some good, ol’ fashioned Irish corned beef treats to feast on. Some items include a corned beef & cabbage soup made fresh in house, corned beef sandwich with beer mustard and The Lucky Leprechaun: their fresh, Ontario grown beef patty topped with corned beef, Irish cheddar, drunken onions, beer mustatd on a fresh pretzel bun.
