The LCBO’s Vintages welcomes a limited release, award-winning wine from Colio Estate Wines.
There are only 30 cases of this 2012 Bricklayer’s Reward ‘Block 7’ Cabernet Sauvignon available and only through the LCBO Vintages offerings. This wine won a double gold designation at the 2014 All Canadian Wine Championship from over 1,500 entries in the category ‘Cabernet Sauvignon Under $25.’
This Cabernet Sauvignon has been patiently crafted from grapes grown on the north end of the Colio vineyards in Colchester, Ontario, where the clay soil and older wines yields smaller berries that are highly concentrated in flavours and stand up to a deft touch of oak aging. This results in a full-bodied wine that is rich and robust with flavours of cassis and vanilla.
The Block 7 was also featured as an ‘award-winning local wine’ in the LCBO’s Vintages catalogue.
