The City Grill has had such huge success with their first Baconfest that it is extending it until April 5, 2014.
The downtown restaurant has seen a steady flow of customers enjoying a 3-course prix-fixe menu of all things pork for only $40. They even had a group make reservations and drive down from Toronto just to try the menu!

Here is a look at some of the items I was fortune to sample:
Bacon & Egg: a compressed crisp pork belly, pastry wrapped egg, asparagus, apple demi and crouton.
Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin: grilled asparagus, orzo, rustic Mediterranean tomato sauce.
Apple Bacon Coffee Cake: spiced caramel, candied bacon ice cream.
