The Festival of Ice takes place from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on both February 8 and 9, 2014. Admission is a canned good to a local food bank.
The annual tradition of hosting your family at each winery for the Festival of Ice is in its 14th year and it’s shaping up to be a great weekend!
On Saturday, February 8, 2014, join Colio Estate Wines and watch ice carvers create gorgeous sculptures, enjoy live music, pet and take photos with live alpacas, treat yourself to tasty finger foods and sample the wines crafted at our award-winning winery. Visit again on Sunday, February 9, 2014, take in the beauty of the finished ice sculptures that will be on display as you sip on wine.
At Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, take part in the tradition of cozying up to the crackling fire with a mug of their delicious Warm N Cozy Mulled Wine. Take in the spectacular view of the frozen crests on Lake Erie with live music and chocolate pairings with our premium wines at Sprucewood Shores Winery.
Saturday, Ray Manzerolle will be jazzing it up for us followed by Tara Watts on Sunday.
Colchester Ridge Estate Winery will have roasted nuts and Riesling on ice. From 12:00pm to 3:00pm on both days, they’ll also be hosting a snowman making contest, just remember to bring your own snowman accessories. The winner will receive a 4-pack of tickets to a Windsor Express. Gourmet hot chocolate will be available, too!
