There hasn’t been a buzz like this in Downtown Windsor around a new restaurant opening in a while.
To much fanfare, The Squirrel Cage recently opened their doors on Maiden Lane and are now the newest members of WindsorEats.
John Ansell and Steven Thompson came down from Toronto and feel like they’ve hit the jackpot with their location as well as the support they’ve received in Windsor from the get go.
The two have done and incredible job transforming their new location into a stylish restaurant/cafe adorned with local art as well as salvaged barn wood.
We recommend trying their Veggie panini and a fruit smoothie. You can’t go wrong on any smoothie flavour you choose.
