Birdies Perch in Leamington, Ontario is Windsor-Essex's first 'bus-taurant'

Let’s give a big, warm welcome to Birdies Perch, Windsor-Essex’s very first bus-taurant!

Just opened 3 weeks ago, Birdies Perch is our latest member. The restaurant is situated inside a 1965 British Bristol Loedakka Double Decker Bus, is parked near the entrance of Point Pelee National Park in Leamington, Ontario. They have a huge patio deck complete with shaded seating for everyone to enjoy. They are also one of only a couple establishments in Essex County that serve Kawartha Dairy Company ice cream and are a dog and family friendly place to visit.

Even with all the stuff mentioned above, I have yet to talk about my favourite part of the restaurant. Her entire menu, like the Perch Taco pictured above (amazing!), is based on products from Essex County! Yee haw!

So we encourage you to go on out and support local by trying out Birdies Perch in Leamington. Be sure to tell Kathleen and the gang WindsorEats sent you!
