One of the most anticipated participants to the 2012 Winter Bites Culinary Week is Neros Steakhouse, located inside Caesars Windsor. A recipient of the Award of Excellence from The Wine Spectator two years running, Neros offers modern upscale dining with traditional steakhouse fare.

Salt Roasted Beet Salad
This salad is very popular with Neros’ customers and contains mixed greens, goat cheese, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed vinaigrette.
Grilled Beef Medallions & Pan Seared Garlic Shrimp
As with any steakhouse, you simply have to try the beef which is served with roasted garlic mashed and fresh sautéed asparagus.
Maple Mascarpone Cheesecake
I’m a sucker for anything maple and also a sucker for cheesecake. Put them together and you’re offering something I simply can’t resist.

Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation.
