Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge has been participating in Winter Bites Culinary Week since the very beginning and this year is no different. The popular Via Italia restaurant will be offering three menus, a lunch and two dinner, giving guests with large parties plenty to choose from.
Here is a showcase of the remaining 3 Winter Bites selections that we here at WindsorEats are most excited about on their $25 dinner menu:
Squash Soup
I’ve always enjoyed this soup since they introduced it. Offers just the right amount of kick as it’s spiced with curry and served with a pistachio croquette and thyme infused Chambard Royale reduction.
Pappardelle
These nice, thick noodles are one of my favourite pastas. Mezzo uses them tossed in a short rib beef meat sauce with toasted pine nuts, rosemary oil and guincale.
Crepes
Filled with hazelnut chocolate and bananas and served with ice cream and warm caramel sauce.
All three Winter Bites Culinary Week menus from Mezzo Ristorante can be viewed here. The lunch menu is $15 and the two dinner menus are $25 per person and $35 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation.
