Winter Bites Culinary Week

Green Bean Cafe are entering their first Winter Bites Culinary Week with a hard to beat lunch menu. The Green Bean Cafe is an independent coffee house specializing in fair trade, organic and premium coffee products. Their core coffee business is complemented by the sale of homestyle muffins, cookies, sandwiches and soups.

The Green Bean restaurant week menu allows you to choose one soup, one salad and one sandwich. A perfect lunch for a student or a worker.

Here is a showcase of the 3 Winter Bites selections that we here at WindsorEats are most excited about on Green Bean Cafe lunch menu:

Garden Salad
Fresh, gardeny goodness. How can you not choose it?

Vegetarian Chilli
This choice clearly depends on what the soup of the day being offered is, but since it is not known what freshly made soup will be available when I go, I’ll choose the chilli.

Reuben Panini
Don’t know why, but I’ve been on a corned beef kick lately, so why not continue it? The Reuben contains, of course, corned beef, thousand island dressing, mozzarella cheese and sauerkraut served on a tasted nine grain bun.

The lunch Winter Bites Culinary Week menu from Green Bean Cafe can be viewed here and runs for $10 per person.

Winter Bites is Windsor and Essex County’s very own restaurant week. From January 16 to January 22, 2012, diners can visit any Winter Bites participating restaurant and indulge in a 3-course meal, created with 3 options in each course to choose from. Participating restaurants are open during their regular hours of operation. Prices do not include taxes, beverages or gratuity.
