30 Days of Local Wine

The 2007 VQA Unoaked Chardonnay from Erie Shore Vineyard is a lovely, fruity, but dry mid-bodied white wine. “It’s fruity, fresh apple and pears, good mouthfeel, medium body and nice clean acidity to make this one fresh and lively wine to sip on”, says Gary Killops of the Essex Wine Review.

The wine has a (0) sugar code and is best served at 10 degrees Celcius (50-55 Fahrenheit). It was aged in stainless steel and is nicely matched with most main courses including chicken, beef, game, lamb, pork, vegetables, cream sauces, most cheeses, pizza, Thai and Chinese.
