On November 27 and 28, head out to the county and experience our local wineries as SWOVA holds their annual open house. We’ve already mentioned the great things taking place at Colio Estate Winery. Here’s a look at what’s going on at a few of the other wineries:
Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery

We want to say “thank you” to our communities that support us, and welcome all newcomers to join us in helping our local food banks. Visit Sprucewood Shores and other local wineries the last weekend of November and bring a canned good donation. Sip on our latest vintage releases, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and shop for the holidays in our beautiful retail boutiques.
Mastronardi Estate Winery
12 to 5 p.m.
Admission: canned goods to be donated to local charities.
The perfect opportunity to shop, sip, and sample your way into the holiday spirit! Shop in our lovely wine boutique where a dazzling selection of gift baskets, creative crafts by Maria, gourmet treats by C’est Bon, and fine award-winning wine awaits you. We also have holiday gift for you! Join our winemaker Lyse LeBlanc on Sunday, November 28 (only) for a barrel room tasting of 2008 vintages. Barrel room presentations times: 1 p.m ,2 p.m, 3 p.m & 4 p.m. No reservations required.
Pelee Island Winery
Pelee Island Winery welcomes you to come tour our winery for a tour on Saturday November 27 & November 28 between 1:00 pm – 5:00pm. Food Admission = Four Cans.
Wine Express Tour
WindsorEats is also offering their Wine Express Tour which will take place on Saturday, November 27 and includes visits to 4 of the wineries, tastings, lunch in Kingsville and you don’t even need to drive! We’ll pick everyone up at a central location and drive you out in style. We’ve secured an awesome limo bus to drive everyone to the wineries and back. Cost of each ticket is $75 and includes the drive to each winery, tastings at each winery and the lunch in Kingsville. It’s a worry free way to visit our great wineries and stock on our local wines for the holidays.
Don’t forget to stop by the other participating wineries including Aleksander Estate Winery, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, and Black Bear Farms and Estate Winery.
